2.41pm Natasha

I will be in later this evening to miniprep K115017, C0012, and E0240.

We also have to run gels on all our new minipreps, but I'm a little hesitant to do it on my own the first time, plus I'm not sure how we are imaging right now??  But it should really be done soon.  I'm free tomorrow from 10.30 to 11.30 and then again after 4.30.  And on Wednesday (when I'm not covering clubs days), from 10.30 to 11.30 again and then from 12.30 on.

5.16pm

I was about to do minipreps but all four of our P2 bottles have aquired a cloudy layer at the bottom... A brief search on open wetware leads me to believe it's salt precipitation and heating it at 37oC should fix it.  It shouldn't be any sort of contamination because all of the bottles were cloudy.  I've put two of the bottles in the incubator and hopefully they will get better.  If anyone knows what else this might be, please shout out.
