For people looking for software to draw these circuits, I just realized that Open Office has a program in it called Draw that seems to work great. And Open office should work on all our computers...

I changed my support from my "synthetic genome" idea to the Agrobacterium idea. I think they are both OK, but I feel that we should support a student idea, especially one that is so well researched and developed. Type VI secretion has so many aspects and lends itself to the biobrick idea. By adding or changing bricks one could affect NDA uptake, DNA release, protein secretion and target cell specificity. And after looking at the elements in the registry I think it would make a significant contribution to the registry, espeically since it brings the biology of a class of bacterial elements from an underrepresented linease to the biobrick collection.
